GEVO Tier 4 - Locomotive Support Systems

The GEVO Tier 4 - Locomotive Support Systems course provides a basic overview of the GEVO Tier 4 diesel engine’s various support systems. Students will learn the purpose, location, function, and operation of the major components utilized in these systems and will grasp a working knowledge of their flow paths. It consists of the following six modules:

• Cooling Water System
• Combustion Air System
• VSPD Auxiliary Power System
• Smart Display Operation
• Engine Control Unit and Sensors
• Lubricating Oil System
